A man was in custody Saturday on suspicion of DUI after crashing into an apartment building in Canoga Park.
Officers responded to a call at around 11 p.m. Friday on the 8900 block of Topanga Canyon Boulevard after a white Mercedes SUV crashed into an unoccupied two-story apartment building, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department told City News Service.
Police took the suspect into custody on suspicion of DUI after freeing him from the vehicle.
No injuries were reported, though officials from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived to assess damages,
Video of the scene showed firefighters working to free the SUV from the building, which showed significant structural damage.
No additional information was reported due to the ongoing investigation.
