Power was restored Saturday to an estimated 1,200 customers without electricity overnight in the Los Feliz and Silver Lake areas.
Electricity was restored at about 1:30 a.m., the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power reported.
An outage affecting about 3,000 LADWP customers in the area was reported at 4:30 p.m. Friday, but by 7 p.m. utility officials said all but 120 customers had their service restored.
Then at 8:40 p.m Friday, the utility reported about 5,000 customers were without service in the same area. Crews worked overnight to resolve the problem.
The utility has not released any information on what caused the outages.
