A FedEx delivery truck caught fire Thursday on Interstate 215, prompting a partial closure of the highway.
The blaze was reported at 9:09 a.m. on the southbound Interstate 215 at the 60 freeway interchange.
The driver of the truck was able to escape the vehicle unharmed, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP closed the right three lanes of the southbound Interstate 215 and issued a Sigalert as fire crews worked to put out the fire.
