A pickup caught fire in Indio Friday, disrupting traffic but causing no injuries.
The Indio Police Department reported on Facebook about 4:30 p.m. that the fire was disrupting traffic in the area of Avenue 48 and Monroe Street.
Photos from the scene showed firefighters dousing a truck that went ablaze in the middle of traffic lanes within a residential neighborhood.
Traffic conditions were expected to return to normal by 5:30 p.m.
