Fans of Roy Wood Jr. are hip-hop happy with his “black Donald Trump” video Thursday on “The Daily Show,” hailing the use of real quotes from the billionaire Republican.
Praise posted on YouTube:
- number one song of the summer
- Is this on itunes cause i need it so badly
- Now that I think about. Donald Trump does act like a stereotypical rapper
- This is actually better than 99% of the new rap/hip-hop!! Bravo!!

As The Daily Beast noted: “Trump doesn’t belong in the White House. Donald Trump belongs in a rap video,” correspondent Roy Wood Jr. told host Trevor Noah. “Everything Trump says is straight out of a rapper’s play book. He brags about his money, he’s disrespectful to women, and there’s always fights at his concerts.
“You could make an entire rap song with just Donald Trump quotes. All you need is a dope beat.”
And the beat went on:
Who manufactured this phony hit piece on @realDonaldTrump ? @TedCruz? @HillaryClinton? https://t.co/YOaZbi8KO7
