
A woman who got trapped underneath a Metro Gold Line train Wednesday at Union Station was rescued and taken to a hospital.
The woman was rescued about 1:45 p.m. from the train station platform in the 800 block of North Alameda Street and was conscious when being transported for medical attention, according to Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Information about how the unidentified woman became trapped under the train and what type of injuries she sustained was not immediately available.
