A motorist who allegedly rammed a parked car that was blocking her path near a taco truck in Hollywood last August pleaded not guilty Wednesday to eight criminal charges.
Amber Rose Darbinyan, 25, of Los Angeles, is charged with three felony counts of assault with a deadly weapon — a car — along with one felony count each of hit-and-run driving resulting in injury to another person and vandalism with over $400 in damage and three misdemeanor counts of battery.
Darbinyan is due back in a downtown Los Angeles courtroom on March 27, when a date is scheduled to be set for a hearing to determine if there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
If convicted as charged , she could face up to eight years and four months in state prison, according to the District Attorney’s Office.
