A man was shot to death in Compton Saturday morning and authorities searched for the shooter.
The shooting occurred in the 1000 block of South White Avenue, south of Alondra Boulevard, at 2:30 a.m., according to Deputy Marvin Crowder of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim died at the scene, Crowder said.
A description of the suspect was not available.
