Two people were killed Sunday morning in a crash on the San Bernardino (10) Freeway in San Dimas.

It was reported at 2:08 a.m. Sundayb on the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway just west of Via Verde, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Witnesses told the CHP a black Honda Odyssey minivan collided with a white sedan and that two people fled on foot.

A 30-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were pronounced dead at the scene, the CHP said.

Investigators requested air support to aid in the search for the driver who fled.

The CHP issued a SigAlert shutting down lanes 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the eastbound San Bernardino Freeway just west of Via Verde for the crash investigation.
