A fire scorched about two acres of grass in the Lancaster area Monday.
The fire was reported shortly after 10 a.m. near West Avenue L and North 100th Street, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The flames were brought under control within a couple of hours.
No structures were damaged, and no injuries were reported.
