One person was killed Wednesday evening in a solo vehicle roll over crash on eastbound Interstate 10 in the unincorporated Desert Center area about 50 miles east of Indio.
Firefighters responded about 9:45 p.m. and found the vehicle on its side, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another person in the vehicle sustained moderate injuries, a department official said.
Details of what led to the crash were not immediately available.
The age, gender and name of the person killed were not disclosed.
