A woman in her 20s was shot Wednesday afternoon in Point Fermin Park after getting into a dispute with four men, who escaped, police said.
The shooting occurred about 4:30 p.m. Los Angeles police Officer Norma Eisenman.
The unidentified woman got into an argument with the men, and one of them pulled out a gun and shot her, Eisenman said. She did not know what the dispute was about.
The woman was conscious when taken to a hospital, Eisenman said.
The suspects made their getaway in a burgundy-colored car, she said.
