A fire destroyed two mobile homes in Sky Valley early Wednesday and left a person dead, authorities said.
Firefighters sent to the 69200 block of Parkside Drive about 12:30 a.m. extinguished the flames in an hour and 20 minutes, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.
Information was not immediately available on the identity of the person who died. The cause of the fire was under investigation.
