A 17-year-old boy was shot to death while driving in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles, authorities said Monday.
The shooting occurred about 11:15 p.m. Sunday in the 1500 block of Plaza del Amo, according to a desk officer at the Los Angeles Police Department’s Operations Center.
Witnesses reported hearing gunshots before the vehicle crashed, he said. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene.
Suspect information was not available, he said.
