Three people were arrested for their alleged involvement in a series of home invasion robberies in Temescal Valley, according to authorities.
On Dec. 6, deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s Lake Matthews station responded to a home invasion call in the 10800 block of Rosemary Way, according to Sgt. Brandon Mullins.
They discovered a “burglary crew” might be responsible for that crime and other burglaries in Temescal Valley, Mullins added.
Two days later, Lake Matthew deputies responded to another burglary call in the 11200 block of Jasmine Way and deputies identified and pursued a vehicle into Lake Elsinore associated with that incident.
As a result of the traffic stop, 20-year-old Jermaine Barnes Jr. of Hemet, 19-year-old Larry Settles of Los Angeles and 22-year-old Tionzae Mcgee-Beavers of Lake Elsinore were detained.
A search of their vehicle and subsequent search warrants at their homes allegedly led to evidence and stolen property being recovered, tying them to the home invasion robbery and residential burglaries, authorities said.
All three suspects were booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside, Barnes and Mcgee-Beavers on suspicion of two counts of first-degree robbery and burglary and Settles for burglary.
