Warm temperatures were expected in Riverside County next week, ranging from the mid-80s in metropolitan Riverside to the low triple digits in the Coachella Valley.
Sunday’s temperatures were expected to reach a high of 80 in the downtown Riverside area, 83 in Hemet and 102 in the Coachella Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
Forecasters also predicted mornings of patchy fog in the Riverside metropolitan area throughout the week. Evening temperatures were expected to range from the high 50s to low 60s in the area.
Hemet should see a high of about 91 on Tuesday, according to the NWS. By night, temperatures were expected to drop into the upper 50s.
The Coachella Valley was predicted to remain in the triple digits, reaching as high as 107 on Tuesday and Wednesday. Evening temperatures were expected to drop to the mid-70s, according to the NWS.
