A 74-year-old woman who was reported missing from the Mission Hills has been found, prompting cancellation of a Silver Alert that had been issued, authorities announced Tuesday.
Cathy Fujimoto was last seen at 7 a.m. Sept. 19 near Germain Street and Kester Avenue, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
She has since been located, but no details were released about when or where Fujimoto was found.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
