A person was found dead Saturday near the Harbor (110) Freeway and the Santa Monica (10) Freeway exchange in the downtown Los Angeles area.
California Highway Patrol officers were called at 3:30 a.m. to 725 Venice Blvd., east of Figueroa Street and north of the Los Angeles Convention Center, where they found the victim, CHP Officer Elizabeth Kravig told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were contacted and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
The person’s name, age and gender were not released.
