Police Thursday are investigating a fatal hit and run crash west of Koreatown.
Los Angeles Police Department officers responded to 1548 S. Gramercy Place, north of Venice Boulevard, regarding reports of a vehicle hitting a male pedestrian at 9:02 p.m. Wednesday. Witnesses told arriving officers the vehicle was driving east on Venice, made a left turn and struck the victim without stopping, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
The victim was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
There was no vehicle description.
