Firefighters knocked down a fire at an abandoned single-story commercial building in Koreatown Tuesday evening, with no reported injuries.
Fire crews responded around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday to the 600 block of South Vermont Avenue to actively work to extinguish a fire at a previously occupied restaurant, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Jaime Stewart.
One person was initially reported trapped inside the building, but Stewart confirmed that no victims were found and no injuries were reported.
Details about what caused the fire remain under investigation.
