A man was shot and killed while sitting inside a vehicle in Compton, authorities announced Thursday.
Deputies responded around 10:20 p.m. on Jan. 29 to reports of shots fired in the 2200 block of East Rosecrans Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. They found the victim in the driver’s seat with gunshot wounds, and paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, sheriff’s officials said.
No suspect information was available, and the investigation remained ongoing.
