A 54-year-old doctor was behind bars Thursday facing charges of raping a woman in Anaheim.
Alain Johnny Nguyen was charged Wednesday with rape, forcible oral copulation, robbery, false imprisonment, and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, all felonies, as well as a misdemeanor count of possession of methamphetamine, according to the criminal complaint.
Nguyen met the victim, who is 26 years old, through a dating app, police said. Nguyen was accused of attacking the woman after she went to his home about 5 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Nguyen was scheduled to be arraigned March 7.
