A man was shot while inside a business in Long Beach, authorities said Saturday.
Officers dispatched at about 11 p.m. Friday to the 700 block of West Willow regarding a shooting contacted the victim, who was taken to a hospital by paramedics and was expected to survive his injuries, the Long Beach Police Department reported.
The victim was inside a business when he was approached by a suspect, which escalated into a shooting, police said. The suspect fled the location prior to the arrival of police.
No suspect description was provided, and the investigation was ongoing.
