A fire at a two-story duplex in the South Park neighborhood of South Los Angeles was extinguished in 34 minutes, the Los Angeles Fire Department reported Friday.

Fire crews responded at 12:50 a.m. Friday to 114 W. 50th St., west of Main Street, where they found and extinguished the blaze, said LAFD spokeswoman Jennifer Middleton. It took 40 firefighters to knock down the fire and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire has not been determined, Middleton said.
