A fire ignited at a single-story house in Perris Saturday evening, requiring firefighters about half an hour to put it out.
The fire was reported at 8:47 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West 11th Street, near South D Street, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Flames and heavy smoke were showing when firefighters arrived, officials said.
They had the flames out at 9:16 p.m. and planned to remain on the scene for about an hour to put out any hot spots, officials said.
No injuries were reported.
