One of two people found dead in a commercial building fire in Glendale, prompting a homicide investigation, was identified Tuesday.

The blaze was reported at 10:25 p.m. Sunday in the 1100 block of Sonora Avenue, according to the Glendale Police Department.

Once the fire was put out, two bodies were found inside the building, according to police.

The Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office identified one of the victims Tuesday as Mariyan Khosravizadeh, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.

The cause of the fire was not immediately apparent.
