One person was killed in a fiery, single-vehicle collision Thursday in East Los Angeles.
California Highway Patrol officers responded at 1:40 a.m. Thursday to East Olympic Boulevard and Allston Street, where they found the car fully engulfed in flames, an East Los Angeles Station spokesman told City News Service.
The victim — whose name, age and gender were not immediately known — was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
