A multi-vehicle crash in Azusa Tuesday shut down the Foothill (210) Freeway for nearly two hours and left several people injured.

The crash occurred at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday on Citrus Avenue, west of the eastbound freeway, where police officers found several vehicles — including a silver Toyota Corolla — blocking several lanes of the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.

The victims were taken to Pomona Valley Hospital in unknown conditions, Garcia said.

The CHP issued a SigAlert for the closure of three lanes of the eastbound freeway at the Citrus off-ramp for nearly two hours while they investigated the cause of the crash.
