A 1-year-old baby was airlifted to a hospital after choking in Santa Clarita Sunday afternoon, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Firefighters responded to Mike & Nick’s Tire & Service in the 20500 block of Soledad Canyon Road, and a short time later a helicopter arrived at about 2 p.m. to transport the baby and a parent to a nearby hospital.
The helicopter arrived at the hospital at 2:17 p.m., authorities said. The child’s condition at the time of arrival was not immediately clear.
