A man who was fatally shot was found inside a vehicle in Desert Hot Springs, authorities said Monday.
The shooting was reported shortly after 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 66000 block of Avenida Cadena, according to the Desert Hot Springs Police Department.
Upon arrival, officers found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
The investigation was ongoing.
