A Silver Alert was activated Monday evening for Los Angeles, Riverside and Ventura counties for a 75-year-old man last seen in Compton.
Otis Walker was last seen at approximately 6:40 p.m. Thursday at South Haskins and South Tarrant avenues, according to the California Highway Patrol, which issued the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
Walker is Black, 6 feet tall, weighs 205 pounds, is bald and has brown eyes. Authorities believe Walker is traveling on foot.
Anyone who has seen Walker or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
The CHP established the Silver Alert program to issue and coordinate searches for missing elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
