A Silver Alert was in effect Saturday for a 64-year-old man reported missing in the Carthay Square neighborhood of Los Angeles.
Mohinderjeet “Mike” Sidhu, who has diabetes and other medical conditions, was last seen at approximately 11 a.m. Friday at Orange Grove Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard, according to the California Highway Patrol, which activated the alert on behalf of the Los Angeles Police Department.
Sidhu is 6-feet tall, weighs 160 pounds, is bald and has brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket and gray pants. Authorities say Sidhu is believed to be traveling on foot.
The Silver Alert program was established by the CHP to issue and coordinate alerts involving the unexplained or suspicious disappearances of elderly, developmentally disabled or cognitively impaired individuals.
