A 20-year-old man who was shot to death in South Los Angeles was identified Wednesday.
The shooting occurred about 3:20 p.m. Saturday on Colden Avenue near Baring Cross Street, Los Angeles Police Department Sgt. C. Savedra told City News Service.
Two teenaged boys walked up to the victim, a man between 18 and 22 years old, Savedra said. The man was shot twice during a confrontation before the suspects fled.
The victim was responsive when officers first arrived but lost consciousness, prompting the officers to perform CPR until paramedics took over and eventually pronounced him dead at the scene, the sergeant said.
He was identified Wednesday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Tyson Story, who sustained multiple gunshot wounds.
