A man found dead in an open field in Palmdale was identified Tuesday.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department deputies responded at approximately 8 a.m. Monday to the 3700 block of East Avenue P-8 and 25th East Street where the body was found, Lt. Daniel Vizcarra said.
The victim was identified Tuesday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner as Daniel Zamora. The cause of death was listed as deferred.
A Palmdale Sheriff’s Station watch commander told City News Service the Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau is now in charge of the investigation into Zamora’s death.
