Firefighters from the Riverside County Fire Department rescued an injured mountain biker from an inaccessible area in Jurupa Valley Saturday.
Rescue crews responded to an area northeast of Sunnyslope around 3:10 p.m. Saturday, according to the RCFD.
The mountain biker suffered moderate injuries and was rushed to a hospital by ground ambulance, according to the department.
It was unclear if the mountain biker sustained the injuries in a crash. The identity of the person was not disclosed, nor were the nature and severity of the injuries.
