Firefighters knocked down a residential fire in Homeland Sunday afternoon.
Firefighters arrived around 3:30 p.m. Sunday to the 3100 block of Fretwell Avenue to find a residence fully engulfed with fire, according to the Riverside County Fire Department.
Firefighters knocked down the fire by about 4:05 p.m., the department reported.
Six adults and four minors were displaced by the fire, and the department requested assistance from the Red Cross, Animal Control and SoCal Gas.
A description of the home, which housed the 10 people, was not provided.
