Fire officials Thursday are investigating a fire that left two boats with significant damage in Marina del Rey.
The blaze was reported at just after 10 p.m. Wednesday in the 4500 block of Via Marina near Basin A, where Los Angeles County Fire crews arrived at the scene and began attacking the flames, LACoFD spokesman Jonathan Torres told City News Service.
Torres said firefighters extinguished the flames on both boats around 10:32 p.m.
One person suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene, Torres said.
The cause of the fires is under investigation.
