A motorcyclist was killed Saturday morning during a single-vehicle crash on the San Diego (405) Freeway in Westminster, authorities said.
The crash occurred at 3:15 a.m. on the northbound 405 freeway at Springdale Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.
The motorcyclist — who witnesses said had been speeding prior to the crash — struck the right shoulder wall, the CHP said.
There was no other immediate information available.
