The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department circulated a photo of an 11-year-old girl who went missing Saturday morning in Compton.
Melanie Ortiz was last seen at about 1 a.m. Saturday in the 800 block of West 134th Street, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
Ortiz was described as a 5-foot tall, 100-pound Latina with shoulder-length, red-dyed hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a brown shirt and black shorts.
