Police sought the public’s assistance Thursday in identifying the suspected hit-and-run driver responsible for severely injuring a woman in her 40s in South Los Angeles.
The collision occurred at approximately 3:25 a.m. on Feb. 7, when an unidentified dark-colored vehicle traveling southbound on Broadway from 46th Street struck a woman who was crossing Broadway, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

“Drivers are reminded that if they become involved in a collision, they should pull over and stop as soon as it is safe to do so, notify emergency services, and remain at the scene to identify themselves,” the police department said in a statement.
A reward of $25,000 is being offered for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the suspect.
