A truck and a Metro bus collided in the University Park area Monday, sending the bus operator and a passenger to a hospital.
The crash was reported about 11 a.m. Monday in the area of Jefferson Boulevard and Figueroa Street, according to Metro.
“The Metro bus operator and one passenger were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries while the other two passengers were safely evacuated,” according to a Metro statement.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation.
