Crews put out a fire that fully engulfed a backhouse in Florence Monday, injuring one person.
The blaze broke out in the rear of the main house at 343 E. 61st St. about 4:50 a.m. Monday, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
One person was taken to a hospital.
Firefighters put the fire out within 25 minutes of the 911 call, the LAFD reports.
The L.A. Departments of Water and Power and Transportation were notified.
The cause of the blaze was not immediately apparent and it’s unclear if anyone but the injured person was inside the home when the fire broke out.
