A woman and a man were killed in a shooting at an apartment building in Compton, authorities said Sunday.
It was reported at 11:20 p.m. Saturday on the 700 block of West Laurel Street, according to the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.
The woman was pronounced dead at the scene, deputies said.
The man was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
The building is listed as the New Wilmington Arms Apartments.
