Sheriff’s SWAT deputies were at the scene of a barricaded man in the city of Compton Monday.
Units were called about 5:45 a.m. to the 1700 block of North Willow Avenue to assist deputies from the sheriff’s Compton Station with bringing the suspect in peacefully.
Special Enforcement Bureau personnel assumed tactical of the situation, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
It was not immediately clear what touched off the crisis.
