Firefighters Saturday morning knocked down a 1/10th-acre brush fire ignited by vehicle fire in the Angeles National Forest, authorities said.
Angeles National Forest and Los Angeles County firefighters were dispatched at 4:10 a.m. to a vehicle fire on San Gabriel Canyon road, north of Falling Springs, according to a news statement.
Firefighters “quickly knocked down the fire containing it to the vehicle and 1/10-acre of brush,” according to the statement. “Angeles National Forest firefighters declared the fire 100% contained at 7:07 a.m. and the vehicle has been removed.”
There was no other immediate information available.
