Authorities Monday released the name of a 21-year-old man who was found stabbed to death in Norwalk.

Anthony Portillo died on a street on Aug. 15 of a stab wound to the chest, according to the Los Angeles County medical examiner’s office.

His manner of death was listed as homicide.

According to the Whittier Daily News, Portillo was found dead near the intersection of Rosecrans and Dumont Avenue, near the San Gabriel River (605) Freeway around 5:55 a.m. Saturday.

According to the newspaper, there was an altercation involving five people and one other person, in addition to Portillo, was injured. That person was intubated at a hospital, Lt. Michael Modica of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department told the Daily News.
