One person was dead after a collision on the Santa Monica (10) Freeway Friday that caused lane closures on the freeway.
One person was killed in a crash that was initially reported as a vehicle striking a pedestrian around 3:59 a.m. on the westbound 10 Freeway just east of the Harbor (110) Freeway interchange, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
Traffic lanes 2 and 3 westbound were closed and a Sigalert was issued for the next two hours until around 6:32 a.m. as a result of the collision, the CHP said.
The collision involved a pickup truck, the CHP said.
Further details on the victim and the collision were not immediately available.
