A large structure fire broke out at an Encino home Wednesday where residents watched crews battle the blaze.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded to a residential fire at a one-story house around 1:18 a.m. Wednesday at 16702 Pageant Pl., a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson said.
Details on the status of the fire and if any injuries occurred were not immediately available from LAFD.
LAPD officers assisted with traffic control at the location of the fire, police said.
Video from the scene shows firefighters on the roof of the house working to extinguish the fire while a family, who appears to live at the residence, watches the fire from across the street with their dog and a collection of belongings.
