Bad boy Olympics swimming star Ryan Lochte’s postings that he’ll be a father are creative, showing him kissing the tummy of his former Playboy model and wife-to-be Kayla Rae Reid underwater.

Also going low are some commenters. Some even assume the news was White House-related.

“i saw ryan lochte trending and just assumed he’d been offered a cabinet position,” said one tweet.

“Saw Ryan Lochte trending on Facebook and assumed it was because Trump floated his name for US Ambassador to Brazil,” said another.

But others on Twitter surfaced the bad-boy swimmer’s Rio Olympic embarrassments:

  • “Ryan Lochte is gonna be a dad and there’s like an 85% chance his kid gets potty trained before he does.”
  • “if you’re ever feeling dumb just think about the human baby that is going to be half ryan lochte and half swimsuit model”

The Orlando Sentinel played it straight: “The Olympic swimmer and the former Playboy model shared pictures on Instagram of Lochte under water and kissing Reid’s tiny baby bump. Lochte says his ‘Christmas gift came early this year.’ Reid says, “Just when you think you think you have it all figured out, life always surprises you with blessings when least expect it.’ She added (hash)weareprego to the post.”

Despite his swimming success, Lochte is serving a competitive suspension for 10 months for his role in a scandal at the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro this summer. He came under heavy criticism for lying about a supposed gas station robbery in Brazil when he and three other swimmers had actually vandalized a gas station.
