Authorities investigating a suspicious death Sunday in a residential neighborhood in Torrance have ruled the man’s death a suicide.
Officers were dispatched at 6 a.m. to 3700 Garnet St. in response to a report of an unresponsive man, Torrance Police Sgt. Ronald Harris said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Harris said, and detectives working with representatives from the coroner’s office have determined the man’s death was a suicide.
There were no further details available about the person nor the manner in which he died.
